‘Road to Japan’

Published November 17, 2017

IT was very embarrassing to see the picture taken at the inauguration ceremony at the Expo Centre (Metro South, Nov 10).

The Sindh governor, chief minister, leader of the opposition and the federal minister for commerce et al were quite insensitively standing collectively on a black runner carpet announcing in white bold letters ‘Road to Japan’.

No country in the world will tolerate its name or flag to be walked upon. The poverty of competence and imagination in our so-called leadership is self-evident.

An apology is due to the Japanese community in Pakistan. One must remember; Japanese are polite by nature but are also known for Kamikaze.
