RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan departed for Dubai aboard a special aircraft from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Wednesday.

According to sources, the PTI chairman arrived at the airport at about 6pm and shortly afterwards departed for Dubai in a special AP-BNR aircraft.

When contacted, PTI’s central information secretary Shafqat Mehmood said that Mr Khan was visiting Dubai to hold meetings with party workers and leaders as well as raise funds for the Shaukat Khanum hospital and university.

“During his visit to Dubai, he will meet some party workers and leaders and will be back in Islamabad on November 18,” he said, adding that PTI secretary

general Jahangir Khan Tareen would be joining the party chief in Dubai.
