KARACHI: The president of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) and former Test captain Rashid Latif have urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to include disabled cricket in its constitution.

Rashid also asked the PCB to appoint a representative on PDCA board of directors.

The ex-wicketkeeper also urged the International Cricket Council to organise an event annually for impaired cricketers.

Noting disabled cricket was now gaining popularity around the world, Rashid emphasised that the PDCA had played an important role in its development.

He also thanked PCB chairman Najam Sethi, chief operating officer Subhan Ahmed and senior general manager domestic Shafiq Ahmed for supporting the PDCA.
