AMP worker remembered

MULTAN, Aug 24: Tenants of the Peerowal farm of the Punjab Seed Corporation in Khanewal held a memorial service for Suleman Masih on his first death anniversary on Sunday.

The service was arranged by the Anjuman Mazareen Punjab, Khanewal zone, at Chak 81-82/10R.

An AMP activist, Suleman was shot dead last year in what government had claimed a shootout between revolting tenants of the Okara Military Farms and the law-enforcement agencies.

AMP Secretary-General Dr Christopher John, Aqeela Naz, Muhammad Tariq, Yousaf Khatak, Faiza Bibi, Mehr Ghulam Abbas and Wazir Sahu addressed the memorial service.
