QUETTA: A Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan’s team on Sunday reached the measles-stricken district of Nushki to vaccinate children suffering from the infection.
The FC team in collaboration with the provincial health department set up a free medical camp in the Qadirabad area to help locals. Last week, 11 children died while scores more were hospitalised after the measles outbreak in the district.
“More than 3,500 children have been vaccinated with the measles jab. Other facilities are also being provided by our medical team,” said an FC spokesman.
