LAHORE: A PIA flight PK-798 Toronto-Lahore was delayed for 16 hours owing to a technical fault on Saturday.
A PIA spokesman said the aircraft Boeing 777 while refueling at Toronto airport was hit by a fuel supply vehicle causing damage to the engine cowling of parked aircraft. The passengers of the flight were informed about the technical delay and provided hotel accommodation, he said.
The aircraft was sent to the hangar for immediate repairs which was carried out by Air Canada.
