ISLAMABAD: Nine outlaws, including two alleged drug peddlers, were arrested and narcotics, liquor and illicit weapons recovered from them, the capital police said on Friday.

The Noon police arrested an alleged drug peddler and recovered six kilogrammes of hashish from him.

The Secretariat police recovered 12 cans of beer during the checking of a car near Rawal Dam Chowk and arrested the driver while the Industrial Area police nabbed two persons for their alleged involvement in a robbery. Two 30-bore pistols along with valuables were recovered from them.

The police also arrested two persons for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Three women were taken into custody by the Kohsar police for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.

Meanwhile, the police on Friday conducted a search operation in Kohsar and Nilore areas and arrested four suspects besides recovering weapons from their possession.
