LAHORE: A man died and four others were injured when an oil tank exploded in a workshop at Begum Kot on Friday, according to the Shahdara police.

The police said the oil tank was being repaired when the incident occurred causing injuries to the workers present there.

Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted the injured people to a local hospital where one of them, Ramzan, died during treatment.According to the police, the condition of one inured person was also stated to be serious.

ACCIDENT: A man died and 15 others were injured on Ferozepur Road near Kahna on Friday when a Lahore-to-Kasur passenger van overturned while saving a motorcyclist.The injured were rushed to the Lahore General Hospital where one of them, Ashiq, died.

Doctors said the condition of other injured was stable.A police official said the action would be taken after getting statements of the injured people.
