BATKHELA: Malakand Deputy Commissioner Salman Khan Lodhi, on the recommendation of departmental selection board, has issued promotion order of 117 Levies personnel.
The Malakand deputy commissioner also acts as commandant of Malakand Levies.
The breakup of promoted officials shows that 12 naib subedars have been promoted to the rank of subedar, 15 havaldras to the rank of naib subedars, 29 naiks to the ranks of havaldars, 30 lance naiks to the rank of naik and 30 soldiers to the rank of lance naik.
Mr Lodhi said that the promotions were due for a long time and many people were suffering due to the delay.
