KHAR: The political authorities of Bajaur Agency have formed a three-member committee for selection of sites for two degree colleges in the tribal region, which were approved about three years ago.

The participants of the meeting, the official said, showed displeasure over delay in construction work on the colleges, approved in Salarzai and Barang tehsils. He said that the committee included APAs Khar and Nawagai sub-division and an official of the education department.

Mr Yousafzai said that the committee members would meet the elders in Salarzai and Barang tehsils for selection of suitable sites. He said that the committee would visit Salarzai tehsil on Friday and seek the help of the stakeholders for fulfilling their task.

The two colleges were approved by former governor Mahtab Ahmed Khan during his visit to the agency in December 2014.
