Military haircut

Published October 17, 2017

BEING a son of a retired soldier, it really disturbs me to see the haircut of our armed forces personnel, which is in contrast to professional armies of the world.

One gets an impression that such leniency towards having a loose haircut makes you look more casual when compared with civilians.

There is no doubt our armed forces have been fighting a war against terrorism and indeed doing an excellent job.

However, they should equally come out strong and look like real, professional soldiers when they appear in the media.
