KARACHI, Aug 21: An internal inquiry has been initiated into the incident of PIA’s flight PK- 306, which made an emergency landing on Tuesday.
It was learnt that the airline’s chief pilot (safety) had started investigating whether the aircraft’s engines had been checked before issuing the clearance for take off. It was also learnt that the inquiry would also determine why one of the aircraft’s engine had failed soon after its take off from the Jinnah Terminal on Tuesday.
