SRINAGAR: Indian soldiers killed four men during a two-day gun battle near the Line of Control, officials said on Monday.
Police claimed civilians tipped them off on Saturday about the movement of armed militants near the LoC, prompting a search. Three of the suspects were killed on Sunday at different locations, including a mosque, a police statement alleged. Indian army spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said on Monday that a fourth man was killed during the continuing search operation in the area.
Four citizens and a soldier were wounded during the shootouts.

Its about time that India reign in its brutal occupational forces in Kashmir, they have been convicted of doing the worst possible human rights violations from using pellet guns to blind and disfigure the Kashmiris to tieing them on to the vehicles and parading them around to instill fear amongst theKashmiri civilian population. There have been over ten thousand documented rapes and thousands others kidnapped and abducted in the indian controlled Kashmir. This must stop, this must end.
