Two NGO men kidnapped, recovered

QUETTA, Aug 20: Two members of a non-governmental organization (NGO) kidnapped near the Gulistan crossing on the Quetta-Chaman highway were recovered by the local administration on Wednesday.

Qila Abdullah Assistant Administrative Officer Allah Dad Khan told Dawn over telephone that Pervaiz Iqbal and Abid Rizvi were going to Chaman from here in the morning when their car was intercepted near the Gulistan crossing and they were taken away with the vehicle.

The administration recovered them and the car, he said and added that the law enforcement agencies were trying to apprehend the kidnappers.
