QUETTA: Seven people, including women and children, were killed and 13 others injured on Sunday in three road accidents in Quetta, Nushki and Sibi.

The first accident took place in the Akhtarabad area of the provincial capital when a speeding passenger bus en route from Karachi to Chaman struck a tractor trolley of a nomadic.

Five people, including two women, lost their lives as a result of the accident while 12 others were injured.

The injured were rushed to the hospital where a child succumbed to injuries. The condition of at least two injured people was critical and they were under treatment in the hospital’s intensive care unit, doctors said.

In another accident in Nushki, two motorcycles collided with each other, killing a man and leaving two others injured.

The victim’s body was handed over to the heirs while the injured were being treated at a nearby hospital.

In the third incident, a nomadic boy was killed after a collision between a car and tractor trolley in the Bakhtiarabad area of Sibi district. His body was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities. The victim was identified as Allah Dad.
