QUETTA: Students from leading educational institutions of the provincial capital attended a boot camp organised by the Pakistan Army at the Quetta garrison on Friday.

Around 200 students from the University of Balochistan, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta Science College, Musa College and Garrison Degree College participated in the two-day activity.

On the first day, the students were given an overview of the operational and training activities conducted by the armed forces. Students were taken to the field areas where they experienced challenges faced by officers and soldiers in the field. The participants resided in the army camp and witnessed various training activities in testing field environments.

The boot camp was designed to create awareness about activities and challenges faced by the military while protecting the country.
