Tourism in Pakistan

Published September 22, 2017

THE government should develop effective road network and transportation system at picturesque tourist spots in the country.

Pakistan is a beautiful country with many attractive places like Naran, Khagan, Shogran, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Swat, but unfortunately the federal government has no interest in promoting tourism in the country.

There are neither well-developed roads nor any proper transportation services for these areas. Fares of hotels and rest-houses are too high as the government has not developed a proper system.

If we look at Dubai, it was developed artificially while Pakistan has all the natural beauty. I request the government to develop a proper road network which will go a long way toward promoting tourism in the country.
