Motor vehicle tax

Published September 21, 2017

I strongly endorse the views expressed in the letter on the issue (Sept 15) . However, I would like to add that not only the writer, thousands of other people who want to pay motor vehicle tax, face the same issue.

It is strange that people who want to pay tax and do their civic duty are being inconvenienced and harassed. The payment of motor vehicle tax should not be restricted to a few National Bank branches and the Civic Centre.

The Excise and Taxation Department should introduce customer-friendly measures for tax payment. The Sindh government should give serious thought to this issue.
