Trump statement

Published September 21, 2017

THIS is in response to President Donald Trump’s statement which was degrading to Pakistan, disregarding the sacrifices it made in the elimination of terrorism and creating peace in this region.

Parliament has rightly rejected it with strong words to uphold the self-respect and honour of our nation. Having said that, I think we may not let the resultant situation deteriorate.

I am inclined to think that lack of friendly relations with the US could be to our disadvantage in the long run.
