HYDERABAD: Sindh Greens annexed the 2nd SSB Women’s Softball Festival title here on Monday after they defeated Sindh Blues by five runs in the final played at the Hyderabad Club Ground.

The recorded a 21-16 victory.

For Sindh Greens Maria Hassan, Adina, Hira Tabassum scored three runs each while captain Ayesha Ishtiaq, Bakhtawar Baloch, Zarlish Shakeel and Mursaleen Mahjabeen scored two runs each.

For the runners-up, Deeba Gul and Sumaira were top scorers with three runs each while Sharil Terrance, Mahnoor, Bushra Javed and Rabia Gul scored two runs each.

Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad and president SSA, Mohammad Saleem Rajput was the chief guest on the occasion.

Also present were Secretary General of SFP Asif Azeem, Secretary SSA Zeeshan Merchant, Pervez Shaikh and CEO of Indus Valley Tourism Abid Mahmood.
