ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: US has agreed to sell six Lockheed Martin, C-130 Hercules aircraft to Pakistan at an estimated cost of $75 million.
US Ambassador to Pakistan, Nancy J Powell met the Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat on Tuesday to announce the deal. According to a PAF statement, the purchase would not only improve the defence capability of Pakistan, but it would also enhance its ability to conduct humanitarian relief missions throughout the region.
