Teachers’ negligence

Published September 19, 2017

TEACHERS in our society were once considered role models for their sincerity, honesty and devotion. But the recent incident in my city, Abbottabad, was disheartening.

O Aug 31, the assistant commissioner of Abbottabad while performing his duty honestly visited GPGC No. 1 for girls. To his surprise , 92 pc of the teaching staff was absent from the duty.

It is sad that teachers who are considered role models for students, lied to hide their corruption.

Moreover, all such teachers have now joined hands and are running a campaign and demanding that the assistant commissioner should be suspended. Should the assistant commissioner be suspended for honesty?
