ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents on Islamabad Highway, police said on Tuesday.
In the first incident, an unidentified man was killed after being hit by a vehicle near Khana Bridge, the police said.
In another incident, a man, Mohammad Nazeer, was critically injured when an unidentified vehicle knocked him down while he was crossing the road, the police said.
The injured was shifted to a hospital where he died, a doctor said.
Meanwhile, Haji Mohammad Anis’s car (OKC-3535) was stolen from G-6/1 in the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station.
