KARACHI, Aug 19: Two fishermen drowned off the Gadani beach on Tuesday, while four others swam to safety on the shore when their fishing vessel capsized.

Edhi sources said the vessel capsized because of strong winds and rough sea. “Four fishermen managed to save their lives while two fishermen drowned,” said an Edhi official.

One body was fished out and hectic efforts were being made to recover the other one, said the sources.

The identities of the dead fishermen and the four others who escaped in the accident could not be established till filing of this report.
