Two killed in Chiniot tehsil

JHANG, Aug 17: A man and a woman were killed in different parts of Chiniot tehsil during the last 24 hours.

Akram along with his lover slaughtered his wife when she was asleep in the house on Saturday night in Chak 188-JB.

The accused had developed relations with Mumtaz Bibi of the same village and wanted to marry her, but his wife was creating hurdles in his way.

Bhowana police have registered a case on the complaint of the father of the deceased and arrested both the killers.

A man and his three sons shot dead Zafar Sargana and injured seriously his wife over a land dispute in Thattha Sargana village in the limits of Kandiwala police.

On Saturday night, Pannah and his sons barged into the house of Zafar and opened fire on him and his wife, Paras Bibi. Zafar died on the spot while his wife sustained bullet wounds.
