NEW DELHI, Jan 4: Fifty-five staff members of the Pakistan High Commission will leave for Islamabad on Saturday afternoon, by a chartered PIA flight which is due here in the morning.

The staff members will leave along with their families.

Senior officers of the Pakistan High Commission will see them off at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

According to an External Affairs Ministry spokesperson in New Delhi, an Indian Airlines chartered flight will bring 50 per cent staff members of the Indian High Commission from Islamabad to Delhi on Saturday afternoon.—APP

PTI Website adds: Indian Airlines and Pakistan International Airlines would operate one special flight each to bring back the mission staff from the two countries.

Special permission for the flights has been granted by the two countries for the purpose.
