TIMERGARA: A man was reportedly killed by his rivals at Janmian village in the jurisdiction of Mayar Jandol police station here on Saturday.

Nisar Khan, nephew of the victim Asghar Khan, told police that he was riding on a bike along with his uncle when the rivals named Bawar Khan, Sultan Zarin and others intercepted them and opened fire on them.

He said they fell off the bike and began to run but the accused shot and injured his uncle who was taken to Mayar hospital where he succumbed to injuries.

The police registered a case and started investigation.

Police said the cause of the incident was an old enmity.
