LARKANA: Police arrested three members of an inter-provincial arms trafficking gang after a raid on Khushhal Khan Khattak Express train on Thursday and found a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in their possession.

SSP Sajid Amir Sadozai told a press conference that 9mm pistols and 3,000 bullets of 30 bore were recovered from the possession of the suspects identified as Nisar Khoso, Sher alias Asghar Fauji Khoso and Khan Jatoi.

He said the weapons were to be used in tribal feuds and other criminal activities. Gang member Nisar Khoso belonged to Karachi who was in contact with Sher Khoso and Khan Jatoi of Larkana. Nisar Khoso was supplying arms from Karachi to various other areas through train whereas Sher Khoso was selling the weapons in the entire Larkana division to terrorists, dacoits and criminals involved in tribal disputes, said the police official.
