MINGORA: Four people, including two women, were killed and two others injured when a car plunged into a roadside ditch at Shinkad area of Malam Jabba here on Tuesday.

According to the Malam Jabba police, a speeding car went out of control of a driver and plunged into a deep ditch, leaving four persons, including two women, dead on the spot. They said that two other persons sustained injuries.

The two were taken to the Saidu teaching hospital where they were reportedly out of danger. The deceased were identified as Nasiba Bibi, Farzana Bibi, Inamul Haq and driver Bakht Ali. Local sources said that the victims belonged to Bahrain area and were going to participate in a wedding ceremony in Malam Jabba.
