ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Balighur Rehman informed the Senate committee on Wednesday that 100 schools had been opened in madressahs to streamline their education.
The Senate Functional Committee on Problems of Less Developed Areas meeting was held with Senator Mohammad Usman Kakar in the chair.
Briefing the committee, the minister said out of 100 schools, 60 had been opened in less developed areas of the country.
He said teachers’ recruitment for the schools had been started and all facilities provided.
The minister said the government planned to open 2,000 schools in madressahs of the country.
