RAWALPINDI: Three people including a proclaimed offender allegedly tortured a man and cut off his ears in the Kalar Syedian village on Sunday, police said.

Abdul Qudoos, 60, who lives in the Radwal village in Kalar, was held by two accomplices and a proclaimed offender. Police said the assault was an outcome of an old enmity.

The victim was grazing cattle in a field when the proclaimed offender, who is among the top 10 wanted by Kalar police, and two others intercepted him.

A police official said he was restrained by the two accomplices while the proclaimed offender cut off his ears using a knife before the three suspects fled.
