MIRPURKHAS: Power supply to a vast area of Mirpurkhas city was suspended when the Hirabad industrial feeder of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) stopped functioning after a mini truck hit a pylon carrying 11,000 kVa high-tension lines at Tando Adam Naka late on Saturday night.
Hesco teams rushed to the area and started the repair and restoration work. However, the power supply to the affected areas could not be restored till late Sunday evening.
