GWADAR: Two police personnel were killed and six other people, including two under trail prisoners, injured in a road accident in Panjgur on Sunday.

Police officials said that a police vehicle carrying personnel of the crime branch and two prisoners was going from Quetta to Turbat. When it was passing through Panjgur, the vehicle overturned after one of its tyres was burst.

The deceased were identified as Head Constable Muhammad Hanif and Muhammad Haroon. They both suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot.

The injured were identified as Muhammad Rafiq, Muhammad Asif, Naqibullah, Deedar Ali and the two prisoners, Muhammad Nasir and Sohrab Khan.
