CM asked to visit flood-hit areas

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8: The National Assembly speaker, Chaudhry Amir Hussain, has asked the Punjab chief minister, Pervaiz Elahi, to visit the flood-hit areas in Sialkot District and take all measures to provide relief to the affected people.

According to a press release, the National Assembly speaker was talking to the chief minister, who called on him here on Friday.

The speaker asked Mr Elahi to look into the construction work on the bank of Ravi River and get it completed at the earliest.
