ISLAMABAD, Aug 7: Former Prime Minister and Chairperson Pakistan People’s Party Benazir Bhutto, who was slated to be the keynote speaker at a seminar in Norway, has had her invitation cancelled following the Swiss court ruling against her, sources told Dawn.

Benazir Bhutto was convicted by a Swiss court in a graft case early this week.

She was invited by the ruling Conservative Party of Norway to attend a seminar on ‘Integration of Immigrant Women’. However, after the Swiss court ruling the organizers decided to withdraw the invitation.

While Benazir Bhutto has decided to file an appeal against the judgment, there are likely to be more such fall-outs for her.
