PCA names selection committees

LAHORE, Aug 7: Punjab Cricke Association (PCA) has announced selection committees and names of managers for all the different five regions affiliated with it.

The committee will select their respective regional team through trials to be held between Aug 10 to 13. The selected teams will take part in the inter-regional cricket tournament to be held across the country from Aug 19 to onward.

Chairmen of all the committees are Test cricketer while members are the either first class cricketers or sports organisers.

Following are the selection committees:

LAHORE.

Chairman: Ehteshamuddin. Members: Iqbal Sheikh, Hafeez-ur- Rehman, Abdul Sami. Manager: Iqbal Sheikh.

MULTAN.

Chairman: Akram Raza. Members: Zafar Iqbal, Atiqur Rehman, Jam Nasir Mahmood. Manager: Mohammad Younas.

FAISALABAD.

Chairman: Ashraf Ali. Members: Musadaq Rasool, Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Arshad. Manager: Tanveer Shaukat.

RAWALPINDI.

Chairman: Col. Naushad Ali. Members: Sarfraz Ahmed, Khurshid Akhtar, Noman Niaz. Manager: Muhammad Saleem.

SIALKOT.

Chairman: Azmat Rana. Members: Inayatullah, Mirza Fazeelul Rehman, Muhammad Zakir Mirza. Manager: Javed Iqbal.
