Sabir excels

KARACHI, Aug 7: Leg-spinners Sabir Ali bowled splendidly to help Zone-III Whites beat Zone-IV Blues by nine wickets in the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal cricket tournament at Students Ground on Wednesday.

Sabir captured five for 18 and fellow spinner Humayun Alamgir grabbed two wickets for one run to spin out Zone-IV Blues for 77 in the 26th over.

Zone-III Whites, in reply, romped home in 18.2 overs for the loss of only wicket with Fahad Iqbal hitting five boundaries in making an unbeaten 43.
