Saeed called up

LAHORE, Aug 7: Pakistan cricket selectors have called up middle order batsman Saeed bin Nasir into the training camp for the Bangladesh series that will start at Gaddafi Stadium from Saturday after the non-availability of wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal.

A spokesman of the national selection committee, however, contended in a statement, “Saeed was always under consideration but since we restricted ourselves to just 20 players for the camp, he narrowly missed out the original list. But we are glad that he will now be up with the best of the best and hopefully show his potential further.”
