SNGPL case

Published June 23, 2017

MY wife and I visited the SNGPL Humak Sub-Division Office several times and submitted a number of applications for gas connection but in vain. Ours is the only house in our locality that has not been provided with a gas connection as yet.

During our various visits to the SNGPL office, we were told that our housing society (River Gardens) did not submit any layout plan for our house to be connected with the SNGPL system.

We contacted our Society office and were informed that its administration had already submitted the required layout plan. Here I should also like to mention that my wife had applied for a gas connection for House No.35, Street-3, River Gardens Housing Scheme in 2015 for which a demand notice was issued by the SNGPL in 2016. Subsequently, we deposited an amount of Rs25,000 on May 24, 2016. Our consumer I.D. is 70463300130.

I hope that the SNGPL will solve our problem at the earliest.
