KE bill

Published June 23, 2017

THE bill we have received against power consumption stands at a mind-boggling Rs679,170 which makes no sense at all. We are a charitable hospital providing healthcare services to the poor for the last 35 years.

The corresponding bill for the last year stood at Rs256,508. Also of relevance is the fact that we used 260 hours of power from our own generators.

We believe that the current bill is enormously exaggerated and is a result of some line fault, meter fault or computer error.

Karachi-Electric has thus far not responded to our efforts. In the interest of patients who get treatment at our facilities, we hope the relevant authorities would wake up to our predicament.
