Atlas Battery is celebrating Ramzan this year with an innovative new CSR campaign #RamadanRecharge.

The initiative is designed to provide relief to those fasting in the sweltering heat, and also encourage citizens to participate in the spirit of giving.

As Pakistan continues to observe Ramazan in the midst of a hot summer, Atlas Battery is trying to play their part in making fasting easy by installing mist fans at bus stands across Pakistan. With this campaign, they are trying to provide commuters much needed relief from the summer’s scorching heat, and allowing them to recharge ahead of their journey.

Powered by Atlas’ AGS batteries, these mist fans are aimed at helping travelers across the country, particularly those fasting, to mitigate the effects of the record summer temperatures on this year.

These fans have been installed at bus stands across the country in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan and Peshawar providing much needed relief to weary travelers.

To this end, from Karachi’s Hill Park and Boat Basin to the Peshawar Club Chowk, from Eid Gah Chowk in Multan to Bank Road in Rawalpindi, travelers have found these fans a welcome addition to their daily commute.

“Fasting, especially in Ramzan, can be quite tough, and I was very worried how I would manage my commute to work in Karachi’s heat, especially during the heatwave," shared one commuter at a Karachi stand, appreciating the AGS-powered fans.

"Luckily, this fan at my bus stand lets me enjoy the shade and cool down, making the fast and my journey to work so much easier,” he said.

Beyond enjoying the cool breeze, Atlas Battery is also giving commuters the chance to take the gesture forward by raising money for deserving children at orphanages nationwide.

Through three simple steps, any commuter can join in the spirit of giving, while enjoying their respite from the summer heat.

To participate, simply:

  1. Visit a bus stand where the mist fans have been installed,

  2. Take a selfie with one of Atlas Battery’s AGS powered mist fans at the bus stand,

  3. Upload your selfie to Facebook with the hashtag #RamadanRecharge.

For every selfie uploaded with one of their mist fans and the #RamadanRecharge hashtag, Atlas Battery will donate eidi and gifts to orphans across the country.

This way, everyone will have a chance to join in on Atlas Battery’s initiative.

The purpose of using hashtags and selfies is to raise awareness and invite more and more people to participate in the initiative.
