LAHORE: Fine knocks by Nain Abidi and Bismah Maroof helped Pakistan beat the West Indies by five wickets in the warm-up match of the ICC Women’s World Cup at the Grace Road, Leicester, England, on Tuesday.

Chasing the target of 247, Pakistan reached home for loss of five wickets.

Nain struck a rapid 86-ball 81 while Bismah contributed quickfire 75 runs off 80 balls.

Both Nain and Bismah scored 141 runs in their fourth-wicket partnership when Pakistan was in trouble losing three wickets on the total of 63.

Bismah departed after hitting nine fours but Nain stayed on the wicket till the target was chased in 47.4 overs. Nain cracked eight fours.

Earlier, Pakistan’s captain Sana Mir captured two wickets for 46 runs in 10 overs to restrict the West Indies to total of 246 for seven in the allotted 50 overs.
