KARACHI: Aga Khan Gymkhana beat Ali Jawani 2-1, NJ Punjab beat Police 2-0, Garden Fighters beat Hunza Friends 2-1 and Ghazi Sports beat Hydri Spikers 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the 3rd Abdul Razak Arain Ramzan Night Rocball Tournament 2017 being played at the Mini Sports Complex Nazimabad on Friday.
Syed Hamid Ali was the chief guest in the quarter-finals of the event in which twenty teams are participating.
The semifinals, third-place match and the final will be played on Saturday at 11pm. Usman Ijaz Bajwa (PSP), President Rocball Federation, will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
Meanwhile, Saeed Ahmed Arain, Chairman Pakistan Rocball Federation, has announced that the best player of the tournament will be awarded a motorbike. Winning teams will receive cash prizes, trophies, medal and certificates.
