Inter-club event from 12th

HYDERABAD, Aug 5: Secretary of District Cricket Association (DCA) Hyderabad Faheem Baig Mughal here on Tuesday has announced that inter-district cricket club tournament would be organised from Aug 12 at PCB Regional Academy ground Rani Bagh.

He asked all cricket clubs, affiliated with DCA Hyderabad to ensure their participation in the tournament and confirm their entries.

He said that only those clubs, participating in the tournament, would be considered affiliated with DCA and the players who would represent their respective clubs would be registered with these clubs for one year.

He told the club organisers to submit their three passport sizes photographs, copies of B-form and National Identity Card (NIC) to the scrutiny committee of DCA before the first match of the so that players could be issued registration cards.

HUNGER STRIKE: Former under-19 captain Shafique Qureshi continued his hunger strike for the 10th day on Monday before Hyderabad Press Club to protest his expulsion from PCB Regional Academy by chief coach Azeem Hafeez and assistant coach Hafeezur Rehman.
