KARACHI, Aug 5: Sindh Cricket Association (SAC) Tuesday named the officials of the organizing committee for the Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs) against Bangladesh and South Africa to be played at National Stadium Karachi.

Bangladesh team will play the opening Test against Pakistan at NSK from Aug 20 to 24 and fifth and final ODI on Sept 21 while South Africa will first ODI at NSK on Sept 26 and third and final Test from Oct 23-27.

Rangers and Sindh Police will provide security cover to visiting Bangladesh and South African teams, Chairman Test and One-day Internationals (ODIs).

Security cover will be in place for the teams in and around their hotel besides escort from hotel to stadium and back as well as during practice and training sessions.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishart-ul-Ibad will be Patron Inchief while City Nazim Naimatullah Khan and Sindh Minister Labour and Transport Adil Siddiqui will be the patrons.

D.G.Rangers Sindh, Maj.Gen Salahuddin Satti, DCO Mir Hussain Ali, CCPO Asad Ashraf Malik, Naib Nazim Tariq Hasan, KCCA President Munir Hussain (vice chairmen-subject to acceptance).

Zahid Bashir (treasurer), Prof. Syed Sirajul Islam Bukhari (organizing secretary-subject to acceptance), GM Development PCB Irfan Mirza, Mehtab Ahmed (additional organizing secretaries.

Shah Riazuddin (SCA), Jamil Gul (chief engineer KESC), Shaukat Elahi Qureshi (SVP ABL), Razaullah Khan (Manager NSK) and Abdul Wahab (Nazim Gulshan-e-Iqbal) are the members.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) will be meeting Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad on Aug 11 at Governor House.—APP
