KARACHI, Aug 5: The Japan government has decided to extend emergency assistance in the form of goods worth $160,000 for the relief of the people suffering from the devastation caused by monsoon rains and flash floods in Sindh.
A press released issued by the Japan Cultural Centre here on Tuesday said the assistance consists of 100 tents, 700 sleeping mattresses, 800 handy water tanks, 100 pieces of ground sheet, 10 rolls of plastic sheet, 10 water purifiers, 10 big water tanks, 10 electric generators and 10 pieces of code reel.—APP
