TAXILA: A woman died in a gas cylinder explosion in village Dakhner in Injra police area on Saturday.
Police quoting family sources said Naseem Akhter, 26, while preparing lunch for her family showed a match to a stove but LPG cylinder caught fire due to leakage and exploded.
As a result she received severe burns and was taken to THQ Hospital Jand.
But later was referred to Rawalpindi where she died. Police are investigating the case.
