Everyone goes through a time when they think, "Enough of this, I need a new look!".

The easiest way to achieve a new look is a hair makeover. One can get their hair cut or change its style, straighten it or curl it. The possibilities are endless.

The most daring hair makeover, however, is dyeing your hair a completely different colour.

While many women dye their hair, few actually go for a bold colour choice. And we understand the concern. What if it damages your hair? Or worse, what if it just doesn't suit you?

L'Oréal Professionnel's Nude Beige and Copper Foilyage are the it colours of the summer!

The best way to protect your hair when getting a bold hair colour is to simply rely on the pros. L'Oréal Professionnel has released two bold looks this summer — the Nude Beige and Copper Foilyage, which are done only in partnering salons of L'Oreal Professionel. Thanks to L'Oréal Professionnel's latest protective and strengthening service Smartbond, the dye lets you maintain your healthy hair. That's reason enough to give these looks a try. After all, hair colour is the new makeup.

As for it being the right shade for you, well, these colours are not like a regular box dye that you will give you one block of colour on your head. Salon stylists tailor the colour to your needs in a consultation session.

Still not convinced? We say you can rock pretty much any colour you want, if you just know how to work it. Here are a few tips.

Braid 'em up

Sometimes a bright hair look can look intimidating. But here's an advantage to such hair, you can make simple looks pop! A braid is a great way to tone down the look, yet the light shades mean your braid won't disappear but standout. After all, you still want to look edgy, no?

Style them in curls to add texture

You don't want your new hair colour to look flat. Curls is the best route for those who want to give their hair that extra oomph.

Match your makeup

Bold hair colours are very specific and demanding. We suggest you go with the theme of summer and bring out your favourite highlighter! Highlighters are already a must-have these days and the glow you'll give yourself will complement your hair. It's your hair, own it!

Get help from your wardrobe

Your wardrobe will play a huge part in how your hair will look. Light and pastel clothes already scream summer but will also complement your hair shade and make it look natural. Of course, for the fun lovers, we suggest wearing dark and contrasting shades to make your hair shout!

Accessorise

While summer means fun hair day, it also means lazy days. And for the lazy girl, a bold hair look is already enough maintenance. So, to the lazy girl, we say accessorise! A bedazzled hair clip or slide is enough to make your beautiful hair shine.

And the secret to success: HAVE FUN!

It's your hair and your know what you need to be comfortable. So while you can take some guidance, in the end it's your opinions that matter and you can make anything look good with a cloak of positivity. You do you!

They both look so not what they should, being a colorist myself , these color levels and tones and our culture do not go with our skin tone. Why we are trying to be what we are not, so lame
