KARACHI: Bilal Islam and Zaynab Khan of Karachi Grammar School stormed into boys’ under-17 and girls’ under-15 finals of the inaugural National Bank of Pakistan (NBP)-Sindh Squash Association (SSA) Inter-school squash championship at the PSF Jahangir Khan Squash Complex, PSB Coaching Centre, on Tuesday.

Bilal accounted for Obaidullah Rasheed of Bahria College 11-7, 11-9, 12-10 and is set to meet The City School’s Fawaz Asim who was home over Rauf Khan of Fazaia Inter College 11-6, 11-8, 12-10 in the other semi-final.

Zaynab, meanwhile, inflicted 11-0, 11-1, 11-1 defeat on Sara Haq of Nakhlah School and is drawn to face Aina Sheikh of Beacon House School who carved out 11-7, 11-3, 11-3 victory over Alishba Ibad of Fazaia College..

The boys under-11 and under-13 events have also reached the final stage.

The finals of all the events will be played on Wednesday at 2pm.
