KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday issued an updated version of the Foreign Exchange Manual 2017 in order to help stakeholders, exporters, importers, travel agents, carriers and authorized dealers (Banks).

A statement said the SBP issues updated Foreign Exchange Manuals from time to time. The last version of the Manual was issued in May, 2016.

Since the issuance of the last updated Manual in 2016, several changes and amendments in the foreign exchange regulations have been made.

The Foreign Circulars, Notifications, Circular Letters, through which these changes and amendments were made, have been incorporated in the Foreign Exchange Manual 2017 so stakeholders can find the regulations and instructions in a single document.

The updated 2017 Manual has information up to April 30, 2017 and has been added to the State Bank’s website for stakeholders’ reference, enabling them to comply with the existing rules and regulations governing foreign exchange business.
